What is Nevision and what does it do?+
Nevision is an all-in-one observability platform for web apps and the servers behind them. A single lightweight script gives you session replay, JavaScript error tracking, uptime monitoring, Core Web Vitals, frontend and backend log management, and real-time server CPU and memory metrics.
How is Nevision different from Sentry, LogRocket, or Datadog?+
Sentry focuses on errors. LogRocket focuses on session replay. Datadog focuses on infrastructure. Nevision combines all three categories — replay, errors, uptime, performance, logs, and server metrics — into one product with one bill, one script, and one dashboard. Smaller scope per feature than the giants, but enough depth for most product teams, and dramatically simpler to operate.
Is session replay GDPR compliant?+
Yes. Nevision masks sensitive form fields (passwords, emails, credit cards) by default before any data leaves the browser. You can also tag custom elements with data-nevision-mask to redact them. No personally identifiable information is stored without your explicit configuration. We're hosted in the EU and sign DPAs for paid plans.
Will the recorder script slow down my site?+
The recorder is under 1KB gzipped at first paint and loads asynchronously after the page is interactive. Real-user data shows zero measurable impact on Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) across all customers we monitor.
Can I monitor my backend services and server resources too?+
Yes. Nevision ships a backend logs API for streaming structured logs from Node.js, Python, Go, and any other language, plus a lightweight server agent that reports CPU, memory, disk, and network telemetry every few seconds. Logs and server events are correlated with frontend sessions so you can trace a user issue from click to query.
Do I need a credit card to start?+
No. The free plan includes 1,000 sessions per month, 1 site, 3 uptime monitors, 5,000 errors per month, and 7-day data retention. No card, no time limit. Upgrade to Lite ($12/mo), Pro ($39/mo), or Business ($99/mo) when you outgrow the free tier.
Does Nevision do page-view analytics?+
Yes. The same recorder script counts unique visitors, sessions, page views, bounce rate, average session duration, and device/browser breakdowns. No extra SDK, no cookie banner needed for the default config. Free plan includes 50,000 page views/month.
